ALETA WYNN YARROW

My work as an landscape artist exists in the shadowland between technique and vision, emotion and intellect, the physical realm and the spiritual one.  I have painted night scenes for many years.  Night is a paradox, because in our culture it often represents threat and darkness, but it also represents enchantment, intuition, and mystery.  To me, night is a quiet place, a place apart, a shelter that brings the refuge of dreams.

West End Gallery has represented my work for over twenty years.  The Creative Center works especially in the healthcare sector.  Art has been healing to me, and I am happy to be involved with this organization.
